Rob is a Los Angeles–based Broadcast Sound Engineer with Australian roots and more than 20 years of professional field experience across ENG, EFP, documentary, corporate, sports, and live broadcast production for both Union and Non-Union shoots. He specializes in capturing clean, reliable audio on fast-paced location work — from breaking news and live hits to multi-camera interviews, field segments, and international documentary assignments.
Rob has mixed thousands of hours of on-location content for major networks including NBC Universal, Disney, ABC, Discovery, and ESPN. Known for his precision, calm execution, and ability to anticipate issues before they arise, he delivers consistent broadcast-ready sound under any conditions.
As a seasoned ENG / EFP Sound Mixer, Location Sound Engineer, and Field Audio Specialist, Rob ensures seamless communication, stable RF performance, and a smooth workflow for any production team. Whether supporting live broadcast crews, documentary units, branded content teams, or corporate clients, he provides the professionalism and experience that producers rely on when the cameras roll.
Rob uses state-of-the-art audio and RF systems from Sound Devices, Lectrosonics, Sennheiser, Sanken, Sony, and Hollyland, building dependable multi-source setups tailored to each production’s needs. His goal is simple: You should never have to worry about the sound.
